Hydraulic Growth Mediums (HGM) work to hold moisture longer to support faster vegetation growth while minimising erosion. The innovation of this product means that they are highly effective in all climate types, even after sustained periods of rain and are able to be sprayed on uneven surfaces and rough seedbeds.
High-performance soil catalyst containing billions of bacteria and essential nutrients.
Enhances effectiveness by binding together Hydromulch components with soil until germination takes place.
Rely on sustainable solutions that provide lasting erosion control effectiveness once applied.
Our solutions are free from weeds, pests, diseases and pathogens to protect the environment and project success.
Thermally refined wood fibres deliver up to 50% more water-holding capacity, promoting germination and no watering required.
Maintains soil temperature for improved growth.
An understanding of the harsh Australian conditions in conjunction with a scientific approach is the key to growing strong, healthy grass that stands the test of time. Similar to hydroseeding, hydromulching is a one-step process that uses water as a carrier to spray seed, fertiliser, tracking dye and a binder/tackifier onto the seedbed, but has the benefits of Australian-tested cellulosic Growth Medium mulches added to the slurry. Hydromulching provides a temporary layer of erosion control from wind and water until vegetation germinates, making it ideal for batter stabilisation. It is important to note that hydromulching is not hydroseeding; hydroseeding is simply a method of applying seed and does not provide extra protection against erosion.
Damaged and depleted soils require more than conventional methods to achieve sustainable growth. Through the application of world-class growth mediums and scientifically based techniques, Erizon has successfully revegetated Australia’s most punishing and remote areas.
Rehabilitation involves careful analysis of your site's requirements and condition to customise a solution that meets your goals. Soil samples are collected to determine the characteristics of the site.
A 3D survey is undertaken to image map the area to a high degree of detail.
Selecting the optimum plant species, we carefully select the best solution taking into account the ability to facilitate growth, functional longevity and the erosion control effectiveness.
Hydroseeding and hydromulching process are optimal solutions for mine site rehabilitation, with each process providing its own benefits to deliver remediation success.
Latest drone technology allows us to apply fertiliser, trace elements and soil probiotics 4-8 weeks after seeding application to ensure ongoing project success.
Monitoring drones fitted with the latest scanning and imaging technology and sensors make sure the project is going as planned.
