EnviroLoc BFM

EnviroLoc Hydromulching Bonded Fibre matrix (BFM) is an advanced hydromulch solution that accelerates vegetation growth and enhances erosion control with its engineered fibre matrix technology. Our solution provides greater soil cover for erosion protection and establishes an optimal medium for seed germination with its high water retention and improved airflow exchange.

Excellent Plant Growth and Erosion Control

EnviroLoc Hydromulching BFM can withstand extreme environmental conditions and can retain water up to 20 times its own weight. Our scientifically engineered flexible fibre matrix has been proven effective in controlling erosion, promoting plant growth, and ensuring the stability of revegetation projects.

EnviroLoc also has better functional longevity than traditional solutions and can be applied on flat areas, slopes, verges, and steep batters.

Key benefits

Lasting Performance
Bonds to the soil immediately and reduces turbidity of runoff, increasing functional longevity of up to 18 months.
Higher Water Retention
EnviroLoc’s wood fibres and micropore particles deliver up to 50% more water-holding capacity than standard hydromulch. Therefore, no watering is required.
Faster Growth
Our 3D fibre matrix technology prevents soil loss, retains more water, and maintains stable temperature to enhance germination.
Guaranteed Results
With our thorough soil analysis and scientifically developed solution, we can guarantee project success.
Sustainable
Our solution is made with environmentally-friendly, non-toxic, recycled, and biodegradable materials.

How it works

How EnviroLoc BFM Works

EnviroLoc® Hydromulching BFM is a two-step application process. Essentially a heavy-duty growth medium, BFM employs a combination of two passes over the surface area. The first step involves spraying a mix of seed, fertiliser and water over the surface. The second step consists of spraying over the seed with a slurry consisting of a proprietary binder and tackifier blended with EnviroLoc® Hydromulching BFM.

EnviroLoc provides increased erosion control performance on steep batters, slopes, verges and flat areas – especially when applied with EnviroSoil®. Combining these products provides the ideal growth environment for the best chance of sustainable vegetation.

Depleted Soils
Soil samples from disturbed lands are analysed to determine the nutrients and organic matter that they lack.
EnviroSoil Application
EnviroSoil, a topsoil replacement that consists of key soil building components, is applied to establish an excellent growth environment.
Application of EnviroLoc Hydromulching BFM
The first pass over the area involves spraying a mix of seed, fertiliser, and water to facilitate seed to soil contact. A second pass is then rendered to apply EnviroLoc Hydromulching BFM combined with binders and tackifiers to ensure erosion control effectiveness.
Germination in 3 Weeks
The combination of EnviroSoil’s soil building components and EnviroLoc’s interlocking matrix create an optimal environment for growth, resulting in faster germination in just 3 weeks.
Quality Growth
By providing an excellent growth medium and adequate water, sustainable plant growth can be achieved.
