Revegetating steep slopes and areas that are prone to high rainfall require a tailored approach to ensure revegetation success. Hydromulching with Bonded Fibre Matrix provides the necessary protection against erosion control, encourages plant growth and stabilises steep slopes.
High performance soil catalyst containing billions of bacteria and essential nutrients.
Enhances effectiveness by binding together Hydromulch components with soil until germination takes place.
Relies on sustainable solutions that provide lasting erosion control effectiveness once applied.
Our solutions are free from weeds, pests, diseases and pathogens to protect the environment and project success.
Immediately bonds to the soil surface and effectively reduces runoff for greater confidence and longevity of up to 18 months.
Thermally refined wood fibres deliver up to 50% more water-holding capacity, promoting germination and no watering required.
Hydromulching BFM is a two-step application process. Essentially a heavy-duty growth medium, BFM employs a combination of two passes over the surface area. The first step involves a combination of water, seed and amelioration being applied onto the surface to ensure effective seed-to-soil contact. The second step consists of spraying cellulosic mulch and proprietary binder and tackifier at a high application rate to ensure erosion effectiveness. BFM's viscous bonding agent dries to form a protective skin over the treated surface area, much like an erosion control blanket, that remains effective for 6 -12 months.
Hydromulching BFM has been designed to provide increased performance in comparison to standard hydromulching solutions when applied to steep batters, slopes, verges and flat areas. This includes extended protection against erosion by providing complete soil surface cover and improved seed germination. Thus improving revegetation outcomes and a greater ability to suppress weeds.
Rehabilitation involves careful analysis of your site's requirements and condition to customise a solution that meets your goals. Soil samples are collected to determine the characteristics of the site.
A 3D survey is undertaken to image map the area to a high degree of detail.
Once the optimum plant species are selected, we carefully craft the best solution taking into account the ability to facilitate growth, functional longevity and the erosion control effectiveness.
The hydroseeding and hydromulching process are optimal solutions for mine site rehabilitation, with each process providing its own benefits to deliver remediation success.
Latest drone technology allows us to apply fertiliser, trace elements and soil probiotics 4-8 weeks after seeding application to ensure ongoing project success.
Monitoring drones fitted with the latest scanning and imaging technology and sensors make sure the project is going as planned.
